Aren't folk just frigging (this was not the word I wanted to say) annoying??
These days you can't say anything without someone saying something else behind your back... and its never usually nice things.
Bullying comes in many shapes and forms but I think the most prominent of which is BACK STABBING! Oh you can relate to this can you? How did I know... ?
I guess it runs a little like this:
Person 1: "Oh Hey! OMG, I love your new dress"
Person 2: "Oh Thank-you, you look lovely too"
Person 1 to Person 3: "Eww did you see her dress, she looks like a walking tampon"
People are mean and nobody likes anyone to be successful - ever! Whether its because you bought a new car or you have a really attractive male friend who you seem to be spending more and more time with, funnily enough is what ''get's em' goin''.
Usually these kinds of guys and galls are simply Jealous, not only does this give you the one up on them it also shows you your worth.
My first bullying memory is from Primary School (Primary one I think) and these two horrible girls who I do not associate myself with anymore decided it would be really funny to skip around and shout out that "I was a Bossy-Boots" to the entire playground - maybe I am - but as a 5 year old this made me so upset I cried for the rest of the day and the teacher sent my mum to come pick me up early... what a loser.
If someone is willing to take the time and effort to tell their buds the latest goss on you then take it as a complement - hell, you could be the new town Celebrity! And I also think that truthfully people like this only have friends because people like to know things and are encouraged and intrigued by those who are willing to share EVERYTHING.
Not only are these gossipers not worth the time their also not worth the effort, I'm sure you've got far more interesting things to be doing than worrying about them telling people a story that you already know. Picture it as reading the newspaper:
Everyone is willing to study the pictures before reading the full story - remember that.
Have you ever been bullied? | How did you resolve it?
