Firstly, I absolutely adore TK Maxx. That store is heaven on earth. Not only do I love all the bargains but I love the Home wares section even more - just the perfect place to find a hidden gem that's that little bit more unique.
As you full well know my boyfriend and I are moving in together (see our moving post if you missed it) and so, we took a trip to TK Maxx in the hope of finding some quirky Home wares.
Boy did we - I should say I, as I'm the one who picked everything - get lucky. We found some lovely unique items for our new home and my my was it fun finding them.......
Faux Book Box:
I have wanted one of these for an absolute age, absolutely the coolest thing to have on your bookshelf. And this one is so pretty too. You can buy these online nowadays - of course! - I had a quick mosey round the Internet before we had our shopping trip and these leather ones immediately caught my eye. Maybe they'll tickle your fancy too. (LINK HERE, see below)

Green Fig Hand Wash:
Jamie Oliver Oven Glove:
This oven glove was only £5.00 at the TK Maxx I went to - I think it was in the sale? and I just love it. Very simple and stylish but not to plain at the same time.
BUY HERE: on ebay,
Velvet Bamboo and Amber Soy Candle
I have a little bit of an obsession with candles, just a tiny bit. One can never have to many candles right... But this one seriously smells amazing. Makes me think of a fireside BBQ somewhere sunny, a little smoky but mellow at the same time. This was £6.99 BARGAIN as its such a large candle too. I'm planning on keeping this for the bedroom. However these candles are not readily available in the UK... sadly. So I would recommend the following; Jelly Belly, Slatkin and Co or Yankee Candle which you can now buy at ASDA.
As you can tell I'm still obsessed with Homewares, were off to start painting this week - perhaps you'll see a post on paint colour choices. How exciting.
Hope you enjoyed! x
