It seems that many individuals have profound self righteousness and self-belief.
I am not referring to self-confidence or faith here, however I am acknowledging the opposite. Egotistic individuals who are can be found so far up their own arse holes not a spec of light may find them, that is until they decide to emerge once more to spread their disease.
Having encountered such people I find it only appropriate to share my view - that they lack a certain part of the brain, commonly known as your conscious. It seems all to real to them that others find them an all inspiring and god-like in entity. Well who could blame them when they are so topically handsome.
I could give a named example however I think I may give a brief description... just a brief one though.
Found in the shooting world is a man born fatefully into considerable wealth bearing a surname that can only be described as 'dead and gone', I guess you could call him the English Rose of the graveyard given that that is where the family company has been left to rot - and so it should. A man who see's fit to mention his own prolific-ism in full view of his followers and on lookers such as myself. As if all this is not bad enough, as if the drum and bass backing track is what keeps his heart ticking strong, he is also dating a young 'filly' perhaps just under half his age - when I say filly, I actually mean its more common synonym. Just as a note to this old chap, over one million words means nothing in this world - especially when its pretentious and frankly, BULLSHIT.
I do imagine that these individuals are a growing breed which to me is quite a great disappointment. Though it may be more appropriate to say that these people are only disappointing themselves, leading false lives with false pretenses, fake money and fake hearts. Fakery is nothing shy of modernism nor is it anything unexpected. However it is not something that is just.
Though I guess it is fair to put our faith in higher hands. Fate is a fine thing, lets just hope she follows through.

Mini Homewares HAUL 2! | Magpie
For starters, I'm certain that this is not a Haul as there are only two items that I wish to mention today... and one of them is a gift. Anyway.
While exploring the vastnest of the Internet I stumbled upon this amazing website - MagpieLine. Its a lovely English company that collaborate with artists and designers to create unique and stylish Home ware items.
Having previously seen some of their ranges on notonthehighstreet.com I already knew how much I loved their stuff.
So as you can imagine I could not believe my luck when I found this....

Breakups | Getting over it
I'm sure the majority of you have all been through this and probably all felt exactly the same way.
Breakups are never ever nice. Even if it ends on mutual terms there are always leftover feelings and memories that refuse to disappear. Some do not end like this. Some are horrific and so emotionally draining that people often shrink away into shadows and become emotional wrecks... This was me.
The main factor to remember when splitting up from someone or being split up with is, it was obviously never meant to be. The person who was probably your world, who you respected and admired most of all in your life clearly did not feel the same for you. This is sad, but very true, and this realisation is often when problems start in relationships. This is a fact of life not everyone is compatible.
I have had my fair share of Breakups, and each of them have been equally taxing. But now from some experience I think it is most important to remember the following;

Mini Homewares Haul | TK MAXX
Firstly, I absolutely adore TK Maxx. That store is heaven on earth. Not only do I love all the bargains but I love the Home wares section even more - just the perfect place to find a hidden gem that's that little bit more unique.
As you full well know my boyfriend and I are moving in together (see our moving post if you missed it) and so, we took a trip to TK Maxx in the hope of finding some quirky Home wares.
Boy did we - I should say I, as I'm the one who picked everything - get lucky. We found some lovely unique items for our new home and my my was it fun finding them.......

Moving | And finding a new house...
So not so far from now, a certain someone and I will be moving in together... ITS BIG! I KNOW!
The whole idea seems so exciting and very lovely that we are both moving on with our lives together - though the idea I like most of all is buying all the cool shit - i.e this gorgeous sofa from Next Home (see below)

Hunting for somewhere to live is so friggin stressful. Seeing somewhere that you absolutely love and then it getting swept away suddenly was such a regular occurance and it left me feeling pretty diheartened and SO frustrated. (click read more to see more)

When you need a bit of me time | Relaxation
Everyone needs a little 'me' time every so often, a time to relax and be alone with your thoughts. This is how I do it...

Planet Spa Ginseng Peel of Mask £3 per tube
Lovely mask from AVON - though currently OOS (out of stock) . The ginseng is incredible at revitalising your skin and peeling it off is a bit of a guilty pleasure. I found it does leave my skin a little tight, though this is easily solved with a good moisturiser - I recommend the Dr Darren photo-protective hydrating fluid SPF20 which you can buy from Superdrug in the UK. .

Bullying | Poking fun!
- Rate on Stumbleupon - it makes me smile!
Aren't folk just frigging (this was not the word I wanted to say) annoying??
These days you can't say anything without someone saying something else behind your back... and its never usually nice things.
Bullying comes in many shapes and forms but I think the most prominent of which is BACK STABBING! Oh you can relate to this can you? How did I know... ?

Morocco | We went to Marrakesh
- Submit on StumbleUpon

At the start of December last year my boyfriend and I had a little trip over to the North of Africa to the affluently traditional country of Morocco.
We stayed at the Eden Andolou Hotel and Spa which is just outside of Marrakesh, a very very lovely hotel with friendly staff all round. The selling point for the hotel was definitely the views... look for yourself. The Atlas Mountains were literally on our doorstep. Can't complain.

Denby | Daisy Green Dining Set Review
Did you ever see such a gorgeous thing? Me neither...

Take a breath and admire the beauty of this dainty dinner set by the renowned British Pottery Company, Denby.
My mum has had her Denby Diner Set for over 25 years and it still looks immaculate. With this in mind I decided to get my own set, given that I am moving to my own place this September. The Denby Daisy Green Dinner Set immediately caught my eye. I'm quite the fan of quintessentially English things and I feel like this set fits perfectly into this category.

How I feel about fitness | What I recommend for your feet
Yeah I know, everyone want that perfect beach body to flaunt along the shore in the South of France or maybe you just want to look hot for a night out... But getting there is not always that easy.
Personally, the occasional run is not good enough. I feel like if I'm the only one doing an activity I'm less likely to put much effort in. Am i right girls? Mmhmm. So the thing that works best for me is the gym - though its not for everyone.
The cross trainer is my thing and I always set a goal to burn at least 100 kcals per 10 mins on the machine... well that was when i was fit. Although right now a block of cheese could probably make it up a hill faster than me.
Anyway, the point of all this looking good malarkey wouldn't be any good if you didn't look bootylicious while doing it now would it?
Running shoes are so important for support and if your like me and always get sore feet while working out I would recommend Nike or Asics for comfort as their ranges are awesome.
I wear gel lined trainers from Asics, but have my eye on these ones which they also make. Very trendy and would make you noticed at the gym or wherever you chose to strut.

Are you starting a new work out regime? | What do you wear to the gym?

Just let me go already?! | When people hold you back
Why is it that when you want to do something, someone always holds you back?
Picture this:
You have a new job, earning more money than you ever though you would and have found new passion for unusual things. Things, that are new to you and things that seem exciting. Like travelling, fancy cheese and ornate mug collecting. And so, you decide that you want to travel and discover ''All things French" from the humble baguette to the iconic fêtes this ''shabby-chic'' totty nosed country feels all the more desirable and all so right. Perhaps you'll find a well groomed Frenchman who speaks with a slight gruff and has wooingly admiring slurrs of "ooooo" ofter every single word.

Or maybe not. Because, somebody keeps saying ''I don't think its a good idea''. Or perhaps its more of a "What if you get lost and end up getting gang raped in a Camembert ridden alley way".

REN Products | That I really want...
Ok, so I am obsessed - become completely fascinated and consumed with REN Skincare. (well the thought of REN Skincare as I haven't bought any yet...)
... and its all essiebutton's fault!! If you want to blame her too, here's the video.
I really really really want to give the REN Sensitive Skin Range a go, its supposed to be very gentle and skin-friendly.
My skin is just downright weird, sometimes dry, sometimes horrifically dry and sometimes oily ish and I am quite dedicated to my usual skincare routine and don't really like to change it up - incase my skin has a bit of a fit!
But I really do think that these products will work for me, the following are the selectewd few :)

Clear Calm 3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser (whats with all the C's?) also £18 for 150ml
and finally!:

The Invisible Pores Detox Mask £18 for 50ml
Hopefully will be purchasing these lovely looking products within the next month or two, so keep posted for a full (real) review!

Our Little Daunder to the Isle of Skye...

So...
The boyf and I had a lovely trip over to the west coast of Scotland to the beautiful Isle of Skye this week. Before this trip I was a "Skye virgin" and can truly say I was overwhelmed with how amazing a place it is.
My boyfriend invited me over with him as he was going for a work trip so I spent my mornings outside enjoying the mellow sunshine and remarkable silence. Croissant and strawbs in hand I relaxed outside the holiday cottage listening to the cooing of baby lambs.

Be your own person
If I try to imagine a world without branding or influence or without
any third party steering all I envision is prairie. Vast expanses of meadow
with sunshine sprinkled by a light breeze willing the wild flowers to dance and
fill the air with sparkling pollen, iced with the ambience of plump song birds.
However, in reality a world and a life without advertising would be
very different indeed, in fact I think life would almost cease to exist – the
way we know it anyway.
For nearly a century words for common objects have been replaced with
brand names, products such as Coca-Cola, Hoover, escalator, Xerox, Google,
Photoshop, pogo-stick, yo-yo, aspirin and many, many more. These words would
not exist any further, can you image saying “can you please input this into an
internet search engine”, instead of “Google it”. Madness.
Advertisement also provides a topic of conversation between
acquaintances and provides the essential outreach for companies to make their
money. If the consumer does not know about a product they are of course less
likely to buy it.
Though, If I look at the other end of the spectrum it seems to make
sense concidering the wider state of things.
Imagining a crowded street free of grubby posters, scrunched up
hand-outs and blinding billboards seems soothing and cleansing. Like finding
the key to a Secret Garden. A red London bus would become an object of interest
within itself and not for the reduced price Botox injection ad plastered on its
triumphant left side.
I feel like we humans are all puppets on the strings of these money
grabbing brands, we see an ad, we buy the advertised, they make their money.
Forever steering us away from things we see every day which have wonder and
enjoyment within themselves.
Maybe it is time to step away from the mainstream and create our own
worlds for ourselves, focusing on the things that we overlook.

Appreciating Life
As Humans it seems we are very greedy creatures, in majority
we take everything we can, aspire to conquer the rest of our race and will do
anything to grasp it.
It also seems a rarity to think of how lucky we are… to be
here on earth, to be who we are and have what we have… and to live in such a
wondrous place.
I guess daily life can take hold – vision can be blurred by
the taxi cabs, crumbling architecture and gum littered streets - Enough to mask
the beauty of reality and cloud the soft rolling hills and whisper of sunlight
in the backs of our minds. This makes me feel ignorant.
Humans are stupid, me included.
I find myself compelled by the need for “those shoes on
asos.com”. Why? I do not understand why I feel that fashion is so important to
me, all I know is that it simply IS. Perhaps I can blame the media or society –
if not myself.
I am quite frustrated that this is the driving factor of my
life and like defined in the reading task I am obsessed with the new and the
mass of what is available in life. What a way to live.
Perhaps if those ASOS shoes were of only a handful of styles
of shoe available in the entire world, would I feel different about them?
Would I desire them more or less?
Would I appreciate them more?
Would I begin to see the more important things in life?
And would my life accept the more important things?...
